The fudge was so rich, and it melted like butter on your tongue. This fudge wasn’t heavy and chewy like other candies with the same name. It was light, and airy, and creamy smooth.
One day when I was twelve, Grandma said I was old enough to learn how to make this wonderful treat myself. To this day I still feel the same excitement and thrill of anticipation every time I start a batch, just as when I was a child. My family and friends still respond to it with wonder and amazement just as family and friends did in my childhood.
It’s such a treat to see someone’s face light up as they taste my Grandma Zara May’s fudge for the first time. Like so many others, I’m sure you’ll think this is the best fudge you’ve ever had.
